I'm Matthew C Pfeifer — a traveler, cook, photographer, and writer chasing the long horizons of America. What started as a restless itch to see more became a way of life: fewer walls, more windows, and a notebook that fills faster than any suitcase.

I cook over open flames and camp stoves, photograph the small wonders most people drive past, and write about the strangers who somehow feel like family by the end of a shared meal. Every mile is a chapter; every stop, a character.
